Before I begin, I would like to thank you for your interest in our home. We discovered Treasure Cay in December 2015 and were instantly drawn to the island. My husband, Richard and I, are looking forward to sharing our home and this wonderful place with others.
We are the Crosby’s: Richard and Melissa and our five children – Kaylie, Bubba (Richard, Jr), Collen, Lindie and Hayden. We currently have one son-in-law, Lee and are looking forward to watching our family grow over the years as our kids get married and have families of their own. Our home is in Macon, Georgia where we have a roofing business.
As I mentioned, we first came to Treasure Cay in December 2015 and this is how it happened. In 2014, Richard decided to get his pilot’s license – not an easy task. During his lessons, to keep himself motivated, he would watch YouTube videos of various private pilots’ flights and came across one to Treasure Cay. And that was it! He got his private license and his IFR license and we were off.
As I mentioned, our first trip to Treasure Cay was in December 2015. It was very exciting and a little scary flying over the water! Once we landed, it was love at first sight! It is hard to put into words how beautiful the island is. The easy going, slower pace provides the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. We were hooked! As soon as we got home, we started looking online for homes for sale at Treasure Cay.
In February 2016, we made another trip over to meet with a realtor and go through potential homes. The homes at Treasure Cay have names instead of addresses. As soon as we saw Deelarryus, we knew we had found our home.
The sale was finalized in June and we went right to work, making the home ours. The process of discovering Treasure Cay, finding our home and remodeling it to suit our families needs has been so much fun! We are looking forward to spending time here with our family and friends. We are also excited to share the home with others and hope they will enjoy their time here as much as we do. It is our goal to provide a beautiful, comfortable and accommodating spot to enjoy a Bahamian vacation.
